ADITYA's EX-Proof (ATEX) and Flameproof Rotary Evaporator is a state-of-the-art device that meets the latest regulations and guarantees efficient handling of evaporation/distillation with evaporation flask sizes up to 50 litres. This pilot rotary evaporator is designed for industrial applications that require high safety and performance standards, such as chemical, pharmaceutical, or petrochemical industries. ATEX and Flameproof Certification: This rotary evaporator complies with the ATEX directive 2014/34/EU and the IECEx scheme for equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The device also has a flameproof enclosure that can withstand an internal explosion and prevent the transmission of the explosion to the surrounding explosive atmosphere.
Buoyancy System: The rotovap features an innovative buoyancy system that allows for effortless handling of the evaporation flask. The motor unit is securely fixed with the shaft, enabling rotation at an angle of approximately 45 degrees. As a result, the rotating flask moves up and down in both directions to accommodate the contents.
Sealing System: The rotavapor has a mechanical sealing system that can handle high-boiling solvents with ease. The sealing system incorporates a specially designed PTFE compound and borosilicate glass, ensuring long-term stability. Even under empty conditions, the sealing system can reach an impressive ultimate vacuum value of better than 1 mbar.
Glass Parts: The glass parts of this pilot vacuum rotary evaporator are meticulously crafted from high-quality borosilicate glass, undergo precise processing, and feature ground plane surfaces. This meticulous construction ensures a leak-proof system. The condenser is designed to withstand a maximum water pressure of below 1 bar. Heating Bath: The rotavapor has a stainless steel heating bath that is insulated and has a temperature range of 20-100°C (option 20-180°C). The heating bath has a heating element of 4 KW/8 KW and an over-temperature limiter. Control Unit: The device has a control unit that operates at 230 V 50/60 Hz and has a vacuum valve, an aerating valve, a vacuum sensor, and an automatic vacuum control mode. The control unit also has a vapour temperature sensor and a display. Motor Unit: The device has a motor unit that operates at 440V / Three Phase and has a rotating speed of 60 rpm.
